Zero-Log, Client-Side Privacy Architecture

Privacy Policy

We believe your personal numbers, financial data, and health vitals belong exclusively to you. Learn how our browser-native architecture protects your confidential computations.

Effective Date: September 2026 • Version 2.4

Our Fundamental Privacy Promise

Every calculation on QAiCalculator runs 100% locally inside your web browser using JavaScript. We never transmit your loan balances, interest rates, salary figures, body measurements, medical milestones, or mathematical formulas over the internet, nor do we store them on our servers or in databases.

1. Client-Side Execution Guarantee

How our calculation engine operates

Unlike legacy cloud platforms that submit your numbers to a backend server to process calculations, QAiCalculator utilizes a modern browser-native execution engine.

Traditional Calculator Sites

Inputs sent via HTTP POST to remote servers → Analyzed by server scripts → Stored in backend logs or user profiling databases → Answer returned.

QAiCalculator Architecture

Inputs calculated instantly in your browser CPU → 0 network packets sent → 0 server memory accessed → Instant, confidential results.

Because your calculation figures never travel across the network, they cannot be intercepted, logged, mined, or compromised in transit.

2. Data We Never Collect

Zero data collection on sensitive figures

We maintain a strict zero-collection policy for all calculation parameters:

  • Financial Vitals: Loan amounts, mortgage balances, interest rates, salary figures, savings, or tax data.
  • Health Vitals: Body weight, height, BMI measurements, calorie targets, pregnancy dates, or age.
  • User Accounts: We have no sign-up forms, user profiles, passwords, or account identifiers.
  • Calculation History: We do not track or build history dossiers of what tools you calculate or compare.

3. What We Do Process & Store

Complete transparency regarding server-side operations

To maintain site stability, provide customer support, and rank popular tools, our server touches only minimal, non-sensitive data:

A. Anonymous Calculator Usage Counters

When you load a calculator page, an anonymous counter increments (times_used = times_used + 1). This operation records only the aggregate count of visits to help rank trending tools. It does not record your IP address, browser fingerprint, or what numbers you typed.

B. Voluntary Community Reviews & Ratings

If you voluntarily choose to submit feedback via our "Leave a Review" drawer, we store your submitted display name (or "Anonymous"), star rating (1 to 5), and your written comments in our database. We do not require an email address or link your review to any calculator input values.

C. Direct Contact Form Inquiries

When you submit an inquiry through our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. This information is used exclusively to answer your question or investigate a feature request. We never sell or share contact details with advertisers.

D. Standard Server Logs (Infrastructure Security)

Like all web servers, our hosting infrastructure automatically maintains ephemeral access logs for network security, DDoS mitigation, and firewall operation. These contain standard HTTP request headers, time of access, requested URL, and IP addresses. These logs are rotated and deleted automatically.

4. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)

Convenience without server exposure

To deliver a frictionless user experience across calculator tools, we may utilize your browser's local HTML5 storage (localStorage) for UI preferences:

  • Unit System Preferences: Remembering whether you prefer Metric (kg, cm) or Imperial (lbs, inches, ft) units across visits.
  • Recent Tools Shortcut: Storing names of recently viewed calculators for quick access on your device.
Note: localStorage resides solely on your computer or phone. It is never transmitted to our web server. You can wipe this data at any moment simply by clearing your browser cache or site data.

5. Third-Party Services & Zero Brokering

We do not monetize your identity

We do not sell, rent, license, or trade your personal information to third-party data brokers, marketers, or credit agencies under any circumstances.

We may utilize trusted third-party cloud infrastructure services (such as Google Fonts CDN, Cloudflare CDN, and standard privacy-compliant web analytics) strictly to optimize page loading speed, render icons, and prevent cyber threats. These providers operate under rigorous data processing standards and cannot access your local browser calculation figures.

6. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, CalOPPA)

Global privacy compliance

Under regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), users are entitled to specific rights:

Right to Know & Access

You may request disclosure of any personal data we have recorded (such as your submitted reviews or contact emails).

Right to Deletion

You can request immediate removal of any voluntary review, rating, or message you previously submitted.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale

We do not sell personal data. Therefore, an opt-out mechanism is fulfilled by default across the entire platform.

Non-Discrimination

You will never receive diminished service, higher fees, or lower calculation precision for exercising your privacy rights.

*Note: Because we do not store, profile, or link calculation input values to IP addresses or accounts, there is no calculation record in our databases to retrieve or delete.

7. Security Safeguards

Protection across transport and server layers

We employ modern industry standards to protect our web environment:

  • End-to-End Transport Encryption: 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all web traffic, ensuring page deliveries are tamper-proof.
  • Sanitized Database Input: Prepared statements and parameterized PDO queries preventing SQL injection on review submissions.
  • Honeypot & Anti-Spam Defenses: Automated bot defenses protecting form endpoints without collecting invasive biometric user tracking.

8. Privacy Inquiries & Data Requests
